What is mileage correction?
Mileage correction means setting a replacement instrument cluster, ECU or module to the vehicle’s true mileage so every reading in the car matches. It’s needed whenever a dashboard or mileage-storing module is replaced.
How long does it take?
Most cluster mileage jobs take under an hour. Digital cockpit upgrades and complex coding can take longer. We’ll tell you when we quote.
Do you come to me?
Yes. We’re fully mobile across North Wales and the North West: home, workplace or garage.
Which vehicles do you work on?
Most makes of car, van, 4x4, motorbike and motorhome, including BMW, Audi, VW, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Vauxhall, Land Rover and more.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the vehicle and the work needed. Send your make, model and what’s been replaced and we’ll give you a fixed price the same day.
Do I get any paperwork?
Yes. You receive a job sheet recording the work carried out and the mileage set.
What do I need to provide?
Your registration, the correct mileage and any evidence such as the old cluster, MOT history or service records.
Do you work with garages?
Yes. Garages, dealers and fleet operators get priority bookings and trade pricing.
How long does mileage correction take?
Most cluster mileage jobs are done in under an hour at your home, workplace or garage.
Can you set a second-hand cluster to my mileage?
Yes. Used clusters from breakers or online sellers can be set to your vehicle’s actual mileage and coded to the car.
What do you need from me?
The registration, the correct mileage and any evidence such as the old cluster, MOT history or service records.
Can I upgrade my analogue dials to a digital cockpit?
On many VAG, BMW and Mercedes models, yes. Tell us the vehicle and we’ll confirm compatibility and parts before booking.
Will a used digital cluster work in my car?
Usually, once it has been coded and adapted to your vehicle and set to the correct mileage.
My speedo needle sticks. Can it be fixed?
Usually yes. Sticking or erratic needles are normally caused by worn stepper motors, which can be replaced.
Will repairing my cluster change the mileage?
No. Repairing the original cluster keeps your stored mileage exactly as it is.
Can you do a forced DPF regeneration?
Yes. Where the filter and sensors are healthy, a forced regeneration with our diagnostic equipment often clears the problem.
My AdBlue warning says the engine won’t start in X miles. What should I do?
Get it checked before the countdown reaches zero. Call or WhatsApp us with the vehicle and the exact message.

Yes. We are fully mobile across North Wales and the North West.
Can you code a replacement ECU or BCM?
On most major makes, yes, including transferring mileage and immobiliser data where required.
Do you offer trade rates?
